Dive and dye testing

Underwater Pool Leak Inspections Sydney

We enter the pool and inspect submerged leak points closely, using targeted dye testing to confirm water movement around fittings, valves and suspected defects.

What we inspect underwater

  • Pool light niches and conduits
  • Skimmer boxes, return fittings and suction points
  • Hydrostatic valves and main-drain areas
  • Visible cracks, joints, grout and penetrations
  • Concrete, tiled and fibreglass pool surfaces

Why dye testing works

When equipment is off and the water is calm, test dye placed beside a suspected opening can show whether water is being drawn through it. The test is performed at specific points rather than simply colouring the pool.

Dive inspection also allows close visual and recorded examination without draining the pool.
